I’m Aubrey, and this is my blog.

I am a twenty-something year old girl from Utah who loves Starbucks strawberry frappachinos and reading fantasy books. I work full time doing SEO for an Internet Marketing company and I attend college when I feel like it. I don’t eat cheeseburgers. I love to cook but have been known to set pans on fire. I’ve owned almost every small pet you can imagine and I still refuse to fold laundry.

I created this blog in December of 2008. What started out as a journal became an outlet for stories about everything I encountered in everyday life. I only had a few readers when I started out – mostly close family and friends. That snowballed to where I have gained amazing online friends and hundreds of visits a day from people all over the world.

Whoever you people are, you make me smile.

I am currently engaged to this hottie:

His name is Kevin. We met at college and started dating after we found out we had so much in common. We are getting married on August 7th.

I absolutely love and adore him. He can keep up with me when I’m always on the go and he challenges me to do more in life. He’s able to take my dreams and make them a reality, no matter how crazy or insane they are.  He’s a goal maker and a planner. One of his favorite things in life is cars. I’m slowly convincing him that cheese sticks are the greatest thing to eat on this planet (my thighs can attest to this).

And for all those who say white boys can’t jump?

They can.

I am also partial-owner of a two-year-old chaweenie named Ollie that thinks he can fly. He can say, “I love you”. He doesn’t beg but he does occasionally sneak under my covers if it’s cold at night. His bottom teeth always stick out. He spends his afternoons upstairs with his other owner, Grams.

I am constantly trying to be better at what I do at work and at home. I like to push the limits on what I’m able to do with photography. Having my new camera has definitely helped with that (thanks Kevin!). I rarely shoot in full-auto. Most of the photos and stories you’ll find on here are of the things that mean the most to me in my life – family, friends and pets.

This is my life, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
