The Engagement: Told By My Fiance Part 1

by Kevin on March 24th, 2010

HELLO! I’M KEVIN, AUBREY’S FIANCE. You may know be from such posts as “Wordless Wednesday: I Can’t Help It: 99% of the Time Our Matching Outfits Were Accidental” and “(Not-So)Wordless Wednesday: I Chartered a Helicopter“. Back in the day, which, I don’t know if you know this, was a Wednesday, I met this stunningly gorgeous girl in Math class. Fast forward 5 months, and 1 day and we are now set to get married. Here’s the story :)

Aubrey didn’t know this, but I looked forward to every Monday and Wednesday because we had our awful Math class together. She sat up front, and so did I, on purpose. Everyday when I would come in, I had to look at her and smile, hoping to catch her attention for a couple seconds. Luckily me asking her for Math help got the ball rolling because shortly after that, she added me on Facebook and we didn’t stop talking for a good 4 days. Once Monday came around we became study buddies…

As you can tell, Kyla (family friend) is really good at predicting the future.

After that our “relationship snowball” went down a steep hill, got bigger, and gained some serious momentum because it wasn’t even a month till I asked her to go to Cali with me and my mom. At this point, mid November, the thought of getting married was even in the back of both of our minds.

To those who say that’s too fast, I say “you suck, worry about yourself”.

Once the semester was over and I had failed Math miserably, Aubrey and I continued seeing each other every single day. Even till today, we haven’t gone a day without seeing each other. When you can see somebody everyday, without getting sick of them or getting bored of being together, you start to realize that they are somebody that you want in your life indefinitely. That’s why we can fast forward mid-January (exact date I’m not sure) when Aub and I got in possibly our biggest fight ever…

Post continues on 3/25 :)

So glad I get to hear your version Kevin. And don’t listen to anybody that says it is too soon…..isn’t that the way we do things in Utah anyway?

Oh So Kevin Admits to failing math? Does this mean that youre not a good tutor Aubrey??? At least Kevin keeps me hanging! Not that Im dissing your version of the story, but he knows how to write too! :)

Nah, she was a great teacher. This was just a common case of “student-digs-his-teacher-so-they-decide-to-date” syndrome.

Much like these fellows only not as disgusting and illegal…
